For nonprofits

A free will for your supporters

Roughly two out of three American adults have no will. That is not just a statistic about other people. It is the reason a large part of your legacy pipeline does not exist yet: a supporter cannot leave you a bequest if they never make a will at all.

What we are offering

A free online will, with your organisation’s name on it, for your supporters. They get a real, state-specific Last Will and Testament: free, about 25 minutes, no upsell. Naming a charity is as straightforward as naming a person, so a supporter can include you without leaving the flow or hunting for how.

A co-branded will page

A page you can send your supporters, with your name on it. A genuine benefit to offer them, not another ask.

A quarterly report

How many of your supporters started a will, how many finished, how many named you, and what they said they would give.

Introductions, where offered

Only where a supporter explicitly says yes. We never hand over contact details someone did not agree to share.

What it costs

Nothing, for six months, as a founding partner.

We are new. Rather than argue about price before there is any evidence, we would rather show you what happens with your own supporters and then talk. The six months runs from the day your page goes live, not from the day you agree to it.

In exchange we ask for three things: permission to use your name and logo on the co-branded page, a commitment to email your supporters about it at least twice, and permission to publish the results so we can show the next organisation what happened.

After six months, if it worked, a flat annual fee in the low thousands. Never a percentage of what your donors leave you. We do not want an incentive to lean on your supporters, and success fees on charitable gifts raise registration questions in several states.

What we are not

We would rather you hear this from us than find it out later.

We are not a law firm
The tool is self-help software. No attorney reviews any document, and nothing we provide is legal advice.
We cannot promise anyone leaves you money
A will can be rewritten the next day. What you get is documented intent, which is the same signal every planned giving programme already runs on. It is not a guarantee.
Bequests are realised over years, not quarters
Anyone promising you near-term revenue from this is selling you something.
We have no SOC 2 or ISO certification
We encrypt wills at rest, run no advertising or tracking, and never sell data. But we have not paid for an audit and will not imply that we have.
We do not support Louisiana
Louisiana law requires a different instrument, and we would rather say so than produce a document that may be void.
We are small
Independent, self-funded, not venture-backed. Your supporters' wills belong to them and are exportable, so nothing depends on us still being here in ten years.

Why this might be worth a conversation

The average charitable bequest in the United States is tens of thousands of dollars, and bequest giving has been growing faster than any other source of charitable revenue. A single realised gift would cover a decade of what we would eventually charge.

But the honest reason to try it is narrower: your supporters need wills, most of them do not have one, and you are the only person they would take that suggestion from.

Start a conversation

Email us and we will send the detail, or set up twenty minutes if that is easier. We are looking for a handful of founding partners, not a pipeline.
